It all started out innocently enough...
I guess she didn't like his shy, quiet style.
Apparently our girl knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it.
**Peter is one of the boys living in the childrens home run by some of our friends in St. Marc. They took him in about 6 weeks ago when he was severely malnourished (17lbs at 2 years old), to the point where he could hardly even sit up on his own. His family had been hiding him in the house because they were ashamed of his condition. Our friends got him into the Medika Mamba program and within two weeks he had reached his goal weight. He stayed in the program for two more weeks and now weighs a whopping 27 lbs! It was so fun to see him waddling around yesterday, eating a ton of food and smiling, talking and playing. His teeth are all coming in like crazy and he's doing so great. It's amazing how quickly malnutrition can be reversed with the right care.
